FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT - Treasurer

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Keeping the accounts of the Trust up to date..once a month providing a summary of expenses and income and balances to the Trustees; every quarter providing a quarterly report on the same; every six months determining GST liability; and annually providing a summary of earning and expenses to the Trust for it's AGM.

SKILLS REQUIRED

1) The ability to use a spreadsheet 2) the ability to determine the appropriate place for items in the ledger; 3) the ability to present account information clearly for laypeople.

LOCATION

Dunedin. Work can be done from home primarily.

DAYS AND TIMES REQUIRED

Any time

DRESS CODE

None

SUPERVISION AND TRAINING

Anything required so long as they have some core competency to begin with.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

Police check required

Referees from relevant employment or other volunteer role required

All volunteers will be interviewed

Volunteer allowance of $20 a week

We provide a weekly allowance and will cover any costs incurred in the performance of the role, including travel, training, equipment use and maintenance, internet and phone and photocopying.
