Library Events & Programs - Coffee Chat Volunteer
Is chatting it up your specialty? Then we want you!
Volunteers will help keep the conversation going by connecting with community members at the library Coffee Chats. Attendees are typically retirees and adults who visit for coffee, games, and conversation. Many attendees are new to the community who would like to meet others.
This volunteer position requires a weekly commitment on Tuesdays from 9:00a-11:00a.
No advance training is necessary. Library staff members will show you how to help and be present for support.
First time volunteering for Douglas County Libraries? Please email Tracy Martinez to schedule a required new volunteer orientation before your first shift.
If you need to cancel, please do so at least 4 days in advance to allow us time to find another volunteer to fill this important spot.
