Administrative Support - Front Desk Volunteer
The Front Desk Volunteer serves as the welcoming first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff. This volunteer helps create a warm, respectful, and organized environment that reflects the mission and values of Catholic Charities of Baltimore.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Check in clients and maintain sign-in logs or visitor records
- Assist with light administrative tasks (e.g., filing, photocopying, data entry
- Uphold client confidentiality at all times
Shifts are Monday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. (flexible)

About us:
The Weinberg Housing and Resource Center (WHRC) is a low barrier emergency shelter that provides homeless services to over 275 adult men and women each night in the City of Baltimore. Our services include shelter, convalescent care, breakfast and dinner, showers, laundry, case management and a variety of life skills and empowerment classes -- with a focused goal on assisting residents in obtaining permanent housing.
