Tri-Cities - Volunteer Orientation and Training - Tri-Cities - Eagle Ridge Hospital - Train-the-Trainer Program

PROGRAM SUMMARY

Tri-Cities Volunteer Resources | Eagle Ridge Hospital

The Train-the-Trainer Program empowers experienced healthcare volunteers to take on leadership roles as peer educators, enhancing the quality, consistency, and person-centered approach of volunteer service delivery at Eagle Ridge Hospital.

Through a one-day intensive learning session, selected volunteers are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and tools required to lead onboarding activities, reinforce Fraser Health’s core values and service standards, and guide their peers in program-specific responsibilities. This program aims to build a resilient and collaborative volunteer community, improve new volunteer readiness, and ensure alignment with patient care priorities across key service areas.

By training the trainers, we create a ripple effect—strengthening mentorship, enhancing volunteer engagement, and elevating the overall experience of patients, families, and clinical teams.
