Friends of the Library - Friends of the Library-FOL Bookshop
Have a love of reading? Want to support the library and Foster City Community? Join our group of volunteers for the Friends of the Foster City Library Bookshop. Help sort the many books and other media that are donated daily to the library. Learn to prepare these materials for sale by selecting, pricing and attractively displaying them in the Friends of the Library Bookshop, located inside the Foster City Library.
The funds raised by the Bookshop support many of the Foster City Library programs.
Volunteer Shift Needs:
- Monday afternoon availability, 2-3 hour shift between 1 and 5 pm
- Volunteers must be able to lift 6-8 hardcover books
- English language knowledge for sorting books into genres
- 6 month commitment required
Qualifications Required
- Ages 18 and up
