Library Events & Programs - Storybook Holiday: The Great Pumpkin
It's The Great Pumpkin... Join us for a special Storybook Holiday.
Some volunteers will be working in an interactive Trick or Treat Experience, handing out candy and assisting actors as needed as trick or treaters make their way through or trick or treat experience. Other volunteers will assist at a craft or activity table helping to hand out craft materials and instructions, as well as helping kids and parents complete the crafts as need. Volunteers will interact with kids and families for the duration of the event.
For the event, please wear all black and comfortable shoes. A short break and dinner are provided.
No advance training is necessary.
First time volunteering for Douglas County Libraries? Please email Brenda MacIntosh to schedule a required new volunteer orientation before your first shift.
If you need to cancel, please do so at least 4 days in advance to allow us time to find another volunteer to fill this important spot.
Qualifications Required
- Ages 14 and up
- General - What is your age range? Must be at least 14 years or older
