Networking Events - 6.17 - 6.19: Dakota County Sheriff's Office Recruitment Academy
General Description
Interested in a career in law enforcement? Participants aged 18 - 21 who are enrolled in a law enforcement program can sign up for the Dakota County Recruitment Academy. During the Recruitment Academy, you will take part in on-site scenario-based trainings and participate in hands on opportunities to test your skills as well as experience hands-on training with Dakota County Deputies.
Meet and interact with different Dakota County units including patrol deputies, correctional officers, park patrol units, SWAT, SRT, and our Dive Team. Also tour the Dakota County Jail and see K-9 and drone use demonstrations. Information about internship opportunities will be addressed as well.

Activity Level
Active - Involves physical exertion for an extended period of time; can involve rough, uneven or steep terrain. Not recommended for volunteers with physical limitations.
