Volunteer with the District of Saanich

Events can generate a lot of waste, and Strawberry Festival is no different. In an effort to divert as much waste as possible from landfill, Saanich has hired the services of Sustainable Fox to run our waste stations, and we need volunteer support to help make them a success! You may be assigned to the sorting station, monitoring line ups, rinsing and drying bowls, teaching others about diversion and our metal bowl program, or monitoring Gary the Berry, our bowl return station. With short shift options, you'll have plenty of extra time to enjoy the event before/after you volunteer! Ages 15+.
