📃 This volunteer opportunity will help to support participants during the Friday weekly ladies' bus outings by helping create an enjoyable, inclusive and fun experience. 

This volunteering role contributes to participants well-being, independence and sense of community while supporting staff to deliver safe and positive experiences for everyone on the outing.     Participants are encouraged to stay engaged and build meaningful connections with their peers as well as having a great deal of fun.

📍Location: BlueCare | C4 Morayfield Neighbourhood Respite Centre, 12-16 Weier Road, Morayfield Qld 4506

💍 Commitment: Get started from as little as 5-10 hours Fortnightly  

☑️ Requirements of this role include: 

        ▪️ No previous experience in aged care is required; however, volunteers should have the ability to build positive relationships with frail aged & elderly people in a respectful and courteous manner.     Volunteers should have good communication and listening skills, patience, empathy and be reliable and punctual. 

They should be committed to promoting dignity, inclusion and meaningful engagement for elderly people from diverse backgounds. 

Please note that this volunteering position requires a commitment of a full day on a Friday, 8am to 4pm as buses leave early & are on time.  They may not return to the centre until 3.30pm after participants are dropped back home.
