Conservation & Land Stewardship - TSP Qualifier Events
TSP Qualifier Events are scheduled for volunteers pending certification. Volunteers who have passed the Trained Service Person eLearning module and have at least 10 hours of conservation service at either Cincinnati Parks conservation sites, or our partner organizations Mill Creek Alliance and Cardinal Land Conservancy, are able to register for one of the qualifier events. CLM staff will be on site to certify volunteers to ensure plant ID. This is the final step in the certification process. It is a practical test with a written component: candidates will be handed a clipboard with 10 questions that correspond with ten plants flagged along a trail. The purpose of this test is to verify that volunteers are able to confidently identify honeysuckle. There is also a brief demonstration on proper cutting techniques and application of herbicide.
