📃 This volunteer opportunity will help to deliver a welcoming and positive first impression as the first point of contact for visitors and assist with the day-to-day smooth operation of the centre 

This position is ideally suited to people who have good communication skills and a professional manner, an attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.     Volunteers will be using a computer and must be able to use email and have a basic understanding of how to access and update applications. 

Volunteers will be working in a team and should be able to work autonomously when directed. 

 

We are seeking reliable and genuine people who are interested in using their existing admin skills and learning new ones to make a positive difference in the lives of the people we serve.

📍Location: BlueCare | Arundel Neighbourhood & Community Care Centre, 29 Melbourne Road, Arundel Qld 4214 

 

👉🏼 About Us: BlueCare Neighbourhood Teams support clients who are frail aged and elderly, living independently at home or with the care of family. 

Blue Nurses, Personal Carers, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists & Dieticians are just some members of a Neighbourhood team providing holistic care to enable older people to remain in their own home for as long as possible while providing them with an improved quality of life. 

Our Administrative Team plays a vital role by ensuring that all of these services are coordinated, accessible and responsive to the needs of our clients, promoting a strong connection to BlueCare's services and networks. 

 

✅ What you’ll be doing: 

▪️ 

 Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and professional manner 

▪️ 

 maintain a clean and welcoming reception area 

▪️ 

 Take messages and enquiries and forward them on to the appropriate team member, in a timely manner 

▪️ 

 Provide general administrative support, including electronic and paper filing, scanning, photocopying and data entry 

▪️ 

 Assist with maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with organisational policy and procedure

🕑 Times: between 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday

☑️ Skills and experience important for this role include: 

       ▪️ Monitor incoming and outgoing mail, including parcel and package deliveries to the Allied Health Team
