S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Burnaby LINC English Class Tech Support Volunteer
The S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Burnaby Settlement and Family Program is looking for a Tech Support Volunteer to assist clients learning English in accessing their online classes. If you are looking for a fulfilling position that helps newcomers in their language journey and speak Dari/Pashto or Farsi, this may be the volunteer role for you!
Location: #210-5172 Kingsway, Burnaby
Dates: Mondays and Wednesdays, 9am-11am
Duties:
- Volunteers will come to the office to assist students during their online sessions. The support would focus on helping students join Zoom, use basic Zoom features, and access Moodle (ISIP Online) while they are on site
- Provide interpretation when necessary (Dari/Pashto, or Farsi)
Qualifications:
- Advanced in English
- Fluent in Dari, Pashto, or Farsi
- Willing to obtain a free Criminal Record Check
