Dino Fest Volunteer – Position Summary
Dino Fest Volunteers help create a fun, safe, and welcoming experience at our community’s largest prehistoric celebration. This role is active and guest-facing, so volunteers should be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods and working in large crowds.
Volunteer Responsibilities:

Greet and interact with attendees in a friendly, upbeat manner

Help guests with directions and navigating the event using the event map

Answer basic questions and share general event information

Monitor an assigned animatronic dinosaur to ensure guests are not touching, climbing, or behaving unsafely

Encourage respectful behavior and help maintain a safe, positive environment

Represent the library and city with professionalism and enthusiasm

Qualifications Required
- How much can you comfortably lift? Must be at least 10 lbs
