📃 This volunteer opportunity will help support the communications team

This volunteer opportunity will help support the Corporate Communications and Engagement team shape organisational reputation and engagement by:  

  • Strengthening internal communications to foster alignment with organisational values and improve employee engagement. 
  • Guarding and enhancing brand reputation through consistent messaging and proactive media and stakeholder engagement. 
  • Supporting enterprise initiatives with clear, multi-channel communication strategies. 
  • Acting as strategic advisors to leadership, ensuring communications are embedded early in planning to mitigate reputational risk and maximise impact. 
  • Delivering corporate publications, CEO communications, and events that reinforce trust and transparency. 

 

📍Location:  Ann Street, Brisbane City 4001

 

Working closely with the Corporate Communications and Engagement team this volunteer opportunity will provide hands-on experience in areas such as internal communications, social media, event coordination, and content development for corporate publications and digital platforms. 

✅ What you’ll be doing: 

  • Developing and maintaining an events calendar by liaising with other business units to capture key dates and activities. 
  • Drafting and editing content for internal channels (intranet, newsletters, SharePoint updates). 
  • Creating and scheduling posts for corporate social media platforms, ensuring brand consistency. 
  • Coordinating and supporting internal events such as CEO updates, staff forums, and engagement activities. 
  • Developing and formatting corporate publications and stories that showcase organisational values. 
  • Monitoring and analysing engagement metrics and feedback from internal campaigns. 
  • Preparing and organising collateral for enterprise initiatives (e.g., Values in Action, Employee Voice).

  • Good communication skills

  • Collaborative and adaptable approach
