📃 This volunteer opportunity will help to make a meaningful difference by providing safe and reliable transport for clients attending the Day Respite Centre. You will play an essential role in helping clients get to and from the centre, allowing them to participate in social activities and enjoy their day with ease.

📍Location: BlueCare | Gatton & Lockyer Valley Community Care, 8 Dawson Drive, Gatton QLD 4343 

👉🏼 About Us: Our Day Respite Centre offers a range of activities for clients to enjoy, providing social interaction, care, and companionship. As a volunteer driver, you’ll be a key part of the team by transporting clients safely from their homes to the centre and back, making their day smoother and more enjoyable. 

✅ What you’ll be doing: 

▪️ Driving the respite bus to pick up clients from their homes and drop them off at the centre 

▪️ Assisting with the return trip by driving clients back home after the day’s activities 

▪️ Providing friendly and supportive assistance to clients during transportation

💍 Commitment: As little as 1-2 hours weekly 

☑️ Skills and experience important for this role include: 

▪️ Clean driving record 

▪️ Ability to interact with clients in a friendly and supportive manner

☑️ We’ll need to do the following checks before you start: 

▪️ Valid Driver’s License (C Class) 

▪️ Reference checks 

▪️ National Police check
