STEM - STEM Program Lead

Do you love science, technology, engineering, or math? Want to make a difference in your community while sharing your passion? We’re looking for enthusiastic adult and teen volunteers (ages 15+) to support hands-on STEM programming.
How You Will Make a Difference
Whether you’re into robotics, coding, LEGO engineering, or anything STEM-related, you'll be part of a new library initiative focused on academic success and making STEM fun and accessible for kids and teens.
Volunteers are needed to:
- Inspire curiosity and learning in young minds
- Build leadership, mentorship, and teaching skills
- Gain experience in program planning and facilitation
- Connect with others who share your interests

Commitment/Schedule
Willingness to volunteer for a 6-month duration. Flexible volunteer shifts based on your availability. Weekday, evening, and weekend opportunities available.
Prospective volunteers should:
- Comfortable leading or assisting with small group activities for youth
- Possess the ability to take initiative and work independently
- Be dependable, punctual, and responsible
- Complete a fingerprint background check, at no cost to you. Only required if you are 18 years or older
Language Skills (only keep this section if language skills are required)
- ex. Bilingual skills are highly desired, but not required
- ex. Spanish oral skills are required
