PROGRAM SUMMARY
The Poshmark Social Commerce Marketplace supports the Eagle Ridge Hospital Auxiliary’s efforts to raise funds for patient comforts by selling curated second-hand items through our online Poshmark closet. Volunteers contribute by showcasing merchandise in a professional and engaging manner to increase sales and awareness.
PROGRAM GOAL
To support hospital fundraising efforts by managing and promoting second-hand fashion items through the Eagle Ridge Hospital Auxiliary’s Poshmark closet.
LOCATION
Remote and/or at the Thrift Shop in Port Coquitlam.
HOURS
Flexible; approximately 15 hours per week.
SHIFT TIMES
Volunteer-driven schedule based on availability and project needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Select, photograph, price, and list second-hand fashion items on Poshmark.
- Maintain knowledge of product offerings to assist potential customers.
- Provide professional and friendly online customer service.
ESSENTIAL SAFETY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to guidelines for safe handling and presentation of donated items.
- Ensure confidentiality and respect when representing the Auxiliary online.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in retail, online selling, or fashion merchandising preferred.
- Comfortable with photography, pricing, and using online sales platforms.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Familiarity with current fashion trends.
- Basic photography and pricing skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy.
ORIENTATION
Orientation to be provided by the Auxiliary Executive and/or Poshmark lead.
TRAINING
Onboarding includes a walkthrough of the Poshmark platform and posting standards.
SUPERVISION & SUPPORT
Reports to the Executive of the Eagle Ridge Hospital Auxiliary.
