Mount Sinai Hospital Montreal is supported by many dedicated volunteers who generously donate their time and assistance to numerous programs, activities and departments.
Recognized by its excellence since 1909 and affiliated with McGill University, the hospital is renowned for its expertise in short-term respiratory care, palliative, post-acute, and long-term care.
The hospital also counts with art therapy, music therapy, rehabilitation and different recreational activities, which allow volunteers to have a large, varied and interdisciplinary set of experiences supporting our hospital.

Volunteers receive an orientation and are trained and guided to create a rewarding experience for both themselves and the patients/residents. Volunteers are carefully selected based on their talents and trustworthiness.
Following an initial interview, a police verification and reference check are performed. Volunteers are then assigned to areas of the Hospital where their skills, talents and strengths will be most effectively used, on a regular and part-time basis. The volunteer program at Mount Sinai Hospital provides an opportunity to lend a helping hand in a number of hospital duties, within a diverse set of departments.

L'Hôpital Mount Sinai de Montréal bénéficie du soutien de nombreux bénévoles dévoués qui consacrent généreusement leur temps et leur aide à divers programmes, activités et départements.
Reconnu pour son excellence depuis 1909 et affilié à l'Université McGill, l'hôpital est réputé pour son expertise en soins respiratoires de courte durée, soins palliatifs, soins post-aigus et soins de longue durée.
L'hôpital propose également de la thérapie par l'art, de la musicothérapie, de la réadaptation et diverses activités récréatives, permettant aux bénévoles de vivre une expérience large, variée et interdisciplinaire en soutenant notre établissement.

Les bénévoles reçoivent une orientation et sont formés et guidés pour créer une expérience enrichissante tant pour eux-mêmes que pour les patients/résidents. Les bénévoles sont soigneusement sélectionnés en fonction de leurs talents et de leur fiabilité.
Suite à un entretien initial, une vérification policière et une vérification de références sont effectuées. Les bénévoles sont ensuite affectés aux départements de l'hôpital où leurs compétences, talents et forces seront les plus efficacement utilisés, de manière régulière et à temps partiel. Le programme de bénévolat de l'Hôpital Mount Sinai offre l'opportunité de prêter main-forte dans plusieurs fonctions hospitalières, au sein de différents départements.
