APEGA Council Elections - Ballot Counting Committee (2025)

APEGA’s Council is the governing body for our association, and the Government of Alberta looks to Council to provide the necessary oversight to ensure APEGA fulfills its mandate to protect the public. This includes ensuring that APEGA's operations follow the EGP Act, regulations and bylaws, and that we are holding professional members and permit holders accountable for compliance.

Each year, over the course of 30 days, APEGA members have the opportunity to vote for council members through our online portal myAPEGA.

In order to ensure a fair and transparent election process, the Association seeks volunteers to participate in the Election Ballot Counting Committee. Volunteers with this Committee are responsible for verifying the election results. This is a great opportunity to get involved with the association and to earn CPD hours.
