Friends Group - 2026 Fall Fest Candlelight Adventure Visitor Center Host
Purpose (why we are doing this):
To assist in the Visitor Center with decorating and refreshments for the Fall Fest Candlelight Adventure event at Lake Bemidji State Park
Impact this position will have:
To increase the capacity and efficiency of park/trail staff to better serve the public through Special Events offered at Lake Bemidji State Park.
Responsibilities (duties and tasks)
Authorized work:
- To provide excellent customer service to visitors at our state parks and trails.
- To assist with the set up, implementation and clean-up in the Visitor Center for the Fall Fest Candlelight Adventure.
Restricted work:
The duties assigned to this volunteer position are laid out above. Tasks pertaining to other programs and projects at this park/trail or any other park or trail unit must be agreed upon in a separate Volunteer Agreement form.
Qualifications Desired:
Volunteers assisting with set up and/or clean up should be able to:
- reach overhead
- bend over
- squat/kneel down without restriction
Qualifications Required
- Ages 18 and up
- BACKGROUND CHECK - Background Check Results Must be at least Passed
- GENERAL - What age category do you belong to? Must be at least Adult - 18 years of age or older
