Community Baby Shower
We will be hosting our 12th Annual Community Baby Shower on Saturday, October 10th from 2-4 PM at the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Midlands in Council Bluffs. The event connects expectant and new parents with information and local resources. Registered attendees also receive a package of diapers, baby clothing, blankets, and other items.
We are looking for volunteers to help out during the event, including set up and clean up, greeting and guiding attendees, working at the registration table, helping in the resource table room, handing out baby packages, interpreting for Spanish speaking volunteers, as well as opportunities ahead of the day assembling packages.

Catholic Charities Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Program provides services to anyone facing these issues through a 24-hour crisis phone line, emergency shelter, court advocacy, empowerment education, support groups and outreach to underserved populations.
Catholic Charities Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault program serves nine counties in southwest Iowa: Audubon, Cass, Fremont, Harrison, Mills, Page, Pottawattamie, and Shelby.
