📃 This volunteer opportunity will help to mentor Project Search interns helping build the skills and confidence to complete their internship program successfully 

 

Project Search Mentors work in communication with Job Coaches to provide an extra set of hands and eyes to support interns on the job as they complete their assigned placements and tasks in various roles within UnitingCare. 

 

📍Locations:  

  1.  
  1. St Stephens Hospital – 1 Volunteer Opportunity

  2. Buderim Private Hospital – 1 Volunteer Opportunity 

 

 

✅ What you’ll be doing: 

  • Building rapport  

  • Supporting skills development  

  • Nurturing personal growth   

  • Communicating with Job Coach (Case notes do not need to be recorded)

  • Demonstrated ability to be patient, supportive and encouraging 

  • High level of communication skills 

 

☑️ We’ll need to do the following checks before you start: 

  • Two character references 

  • NDIS Workers Screening check

  • Working with Children Check
