Teen Library Connections - TLC Members Only: Stuffed Animal Sleepover
Get ready for the cutest chaos ever! We are so excited to have you join the TLC Members Only Presents: Stuffed Animal Sleepover. Our programs are only a success because of awesome volunteers like you—thanks for jumping in!
Friday: The Escapades Begin! Our littlest customers are dropping off their favorite plushies for a night of library high jinx. You’ll help these stuffed toys get into "crazy adventures" around the stacks, snap photos of their secret lives, and help put together a legendary PowerPoint presentation of their antics. Oh, and we’ll need your help with craft setup and participation too!
Saturday: The Grand Reunion! The next morning, it’s time to reunite the toys with their humans! You’ll help return the stuffed animals and assist with "crowd control" as the kids watch the hilarious slideshow of what their toys got up to overnight.
This is a two-day extravaganza! We’d love for you to join us for the whole adventure:
Friday, Feb 6th: 3:30 pm – 6:00 pm
Saturday, Feb 7th: 9:00 am – 1:30 pm
Wear something comfy, bring a water bottle, and get ready for some serious plushie-related fun.
Staff will be onsite to help volunteers. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle.
First time volunteering for Douglas County Libraries? Please email Tracy Martinez to schedule a required new volunteer orientation before your first shift.
If you need to cancel, please do so at least 4 days in advance to allow us time to find another volunteer to fill this important spot.
