We’re seeking friendly and reliable volunteers to join our team as Community Drivers in Townsville for our Retirement Living Residents, using one of our fleet cars. This is your chance to make a real difference in someone’s day—simply by offering a safe, supportive ride and a kind conversation.
Your Role as a Community Driver
- Transport retirement living residents safely to appointments, social outings, and community activities
- Offer companionship and a warm, welcoming presence during trips
- Assist passengers getting in and out of the vehicle when needed
- Ensure the fleet car is used responsibly and returned in good condition
- Help residents stay connected to the people, places, and activities they love
What We’re Looking For
- Someone with a kind heart who enjoys making others feel comfortable and supported
- A calm and confident driver who takes care on the road
- A good listener who enjoys a friendly chat
- A current valid driver’s licence
