Teen Volunteer Opportunities - Summer Adventure 2026 Volunteer
Our Summer Adventure volunteers help library members of all ages participate in Summer Adventure and earn prizes! Volunteers should be friendly, organized, and enthusiastic about engaging with our community. This opportunity is limited to students in middle school and high school.
Please note: You are required to have completed one Summer Adventure volunteer orientation in order to volunteer. If you attended an orientation at another Alameda County Library branch, that will qualify.
The next Summer Adventure volunteer orientations will be May 30 and June 23.
For the general Summer Adventure volunteer hours, please do not sign up for more than two hours at a time each day.
Volunteer requirements:
- Follow library guidelines for privacy and behavior
- Show up for scheduled shifts

- Age Level Must be at least Middle School Teen
