Programmatic - Adult Leader of Youth-Led Programs
Brief Summary of Activity: Help supervise youth volunteers.
How You Will Make a Difference:
Supervise and ensure a safe environment for youth volunteers and any minor participants.
Serve as a mature advisor for young people.
Help to make the program fun, productive, and nurturing for both youth and children.
Typical Day or Task: Sign in and pick up your volunteer lanyard about 15-30 minutes prior to the start of the program.
You will assist youth with their program plans by setting up the room for the program, supervising the program, and resetting the room back to its original configuration.
Benefits: The Library community will benefit from your leadership.
In addition, you will have the chance to add your expertise to a youth-led program.
Commitment or Schedule: Please be willing to commit to at least six months of volunteership.
Qualifications: Volunteers 18 and over are welcome to apply. You will need to be fingerprinted. Volunteers 15-17 are also welcome to apply.
