CCN with Emily Catalano - Usher
Ushers are a vital part of the front of house crew during a performance. They assist the House Manager with various activities throughout the night and are responsible for evacuating the theatre in case of an emergency. Ushers arrive 45 minutes before the show to check tickets at the doors, hand out programs, and help patrons to their seats. Ushers get to watch performances, but are situated by the doors to the theatre to ensure that late patrons do not disrupt the performance. After the performance, ushers help the House Manager with closing tasks such as vacuuming, recycling, throwing away trash, etc. No experience required - all training provided at the start of shift.
Commitment: 2.5-4 hours per shift
