PARTICIPATE ACTIVITIES ASSISTANT

Do you want to help support older people with a disability? Do you want to help people achieve their goals?
Support genU's older participants in our disability recreation program where they enjoy tailored activities and time with others. Help to provide additional support for our clients and staff, ensuring all participants are feeling welcome!
Get out and about while making a difference to the lives of older people with a disability. Volunteer with great people, make new friends, learn new skills and get involved.
Our Participate Disability Day programs run from our venues or out in the community. genU's range of activities include
- Art and craft
- Music
- Group social interaction
Assistants support the Participate Educators to deliver key programs and services and provide extra support for clients and program staff.
Volunteers will not only contribute to the physical well-being of participants but also play a key role in fostering social connections and facilitating a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
Program Hours: Program runs activities between 9.00am - 3.00pm, Monday to Friday across four terms per year.
