Outreach Events - Douglas County Fair Parade - Come walk with DCL!
Join DCL Staff in walking the 1.5 mile parade route through downtown Castle Rock! Volunteers will meet staff along Plum Creek Parkway. Our position in the parade lineup will be determined closer to parade time and is usually close to the overpass. Please bring a water bottle, a Summer Reading Program t-shirt (if you have one), comfortable shoes, and be prepared to pass out candy or carry lightweight signs.
First time volunteering for Douglas County Libraries? Please email Jen Armendariz to schedule a required new volunteer orientation before your first shift.
If you need to cancel, please do so at least 4 days in advance to allow us time to find another volunteer to fill this important spot.
Qualifications Required
- General - What is your age range? Must be at least 14 years or older
