Candlelight Events - Candlelight Event Support Assistant
Purpose (why we are doing this)
Help create an amazing winter memory! Volunteers are needed for this annual candlelight event. Candle luminaries guide visitors on several miles of snowshoe and hiking trails.

Responsibilities (duties and tasks)
- Event Support Volunteers will assist in a variety of tasks assigned by the event coordinator. Tasks may include bonfire tending, parking assistance, relighting candles and more as needed.
Qualifications needed:
- Ability to travel over a variety of terrain in snowshoes or winter boots.
- Headlamp or flashlight recommended.
- Able to stand, bend, stoop and carry objects.
- Must be comfortable working in winter conditions for a minimum of 1 hour.
Safety training topics to be covered with volunteers:
- Heat and Cold Related Illness
Minimum Time Commitment:
- Meet at the Visitor Center 15 minutes before your shift start time.
- 1 hour but you are welcome to work longer by selecting multiple shift times.
