Lebanon Hills Regional Park - New Year's Eve Party in the Wild - Dec. 31, 2025 - 12.31: New Year's Eve Party - Luminary Set-up & Lighting Volunteer


General Description

Help make the New Year's Eve festivities at beautiful Lebanon Hills Regional Park even more magical with the addition of lighted luminaries. Help park staff place and light over 1,200 luminaries situated along various walking trails before the event begins. Volunteers who help with this opportunity will get a free ticket (one per person volunteering) to use to access the NYE Party.

12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Help place and light over 1,200 luminaries at various locations in the park.
  • This event will be outside, so dress accordingly.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • All ages are welcome.
  • Anyone under 16 years of age requires adult supervision.
  • Must be able & comfortable with walking 1-3 miles over regularly level terrain that might be covered in snow/ice and other debris. 

 

Minimum Time Commitment

3 - 4 hours, times will vary based on routes given to volunteers. 

 

Activity Level

Moderate - Includes light work such as bending over and picking up items under 5 lbs. on a continuous basis and walking moderate distances (1-3 miles) over relatively level terrain. Comfortable shoes recommended.
