Bring colour, creativity and smiles ! We are looking for a friendly volunteer to support our weekly art sessions. No artistic experience is needed, just a warm heart and a love of connecting with older people. This role is well suited to people who enjoy social interaction, creative activities, and building meaningful connections with others. It would be ideal for retirees, students, community-minded individuals, people seeking volunteer experience in aged care, or anyone looking to share companionship while making a positive impact in the lives of older people.

📍Location: BlueCare Talleyhaven ACF | 54 Dudgeon street, Tallebudgera QLD 4228

You'll be volunteering in a welcoming aged care home with comfortable resident rooms, inviting lounges, gardens, dining areas, and activity spaces. The environment is safe, friendly, and designed to help residents feel at home.

✅ What you’ll be doing:

• Set up paint palettes, brushes, and canvases
• Assist residents to and from activity
• Encourage residents as they mix colours or make and express themselves
• Help clean up brushes and tidy the creative space

🕑 Times: Mondays 1:00pm - 2:30 pm
📅 Days: Weekdays

▪️Comfortable working as part of a team

▪️Good communication skills

▪️Respectful and compassionate when interacting with older people
