Help to reduce isolation and make a positive impact in the life of a senior person.
genU’s Social Support Home Visiting Program aims to support older people, to have increased social connections.
Our volunteer visitors are matched with an older person to support them with regular social conversations in the home and reach their goals. With some fun and laughter along the way!
genU will match you with an elderly community member. Based on your shared interests, location and life experiences, so that you can build a positive connection. Through offering your time you will contribute to the wellbeing and happiness of an individual.
You will have support with screening, induction and ongoing guidance provided by your Volunteer Coordinator.
Role hours: Hours are flexible and bite-sized (approximately 2 hours a week), visit your matched client during business hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 5:00pm.
