AdVenture Sports - 2026 ChairHoops Wheelchair Basketball Tournament - REFEREE
The Adaptive Recreation Program needs your help! Volunteers are needed to help referee games at our annual wheelchair basketball tournament fundraiser, ChairHoops. This is a recreational tournament so you do not need to be a certified referee. If you understand basic basketball rules, we can teach you the rest. It's a very laid back tournament. All volunteers will receive a ChairHoops T-Shirt. During the event, basketball players of all abilities test their skills in a tournament format, to help raise funds to help people with disabilities participate in a wide range of recreation and social programs.
This event would not be possible without our volunteers. If you are interested in lending a hand, we could use your help on:
Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 6-9 p.m. at Fort Boise Community Center
Friday, March 13, 2026, from 5:30-9 p.m. at Borah High School
Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 8:30 a.m.-3:15 p.m. at Borah High School
If you are unavailable for the entire time event, please let us know and we can work around your schedule.
Qualifications Required
- Volunteer Handbook Review Must be Complete
- Volunteer Waiver Must be Complete
- Volunteer's Age Must be at least 15
