Special Events - Independence Fest - General Interest
We invite you to volunteer for the 250th celebration of the nation at Flower Mound's Independence Fest on Saturday, July 4th!
This all-day celebration is our largest event of the year, and our volunteers are a huge part of what makes it such an unforgettable experience! The event kicks off with the morning Children’s Parade at Leonard and Helen Johns Park (1800 Timber Creek Rd.) and continues in the evening at Bakersfield Park (1201 Duncan Ln.) designed to foster a festive day of celebration, connection, and local pride!
The event will be bigger than ever for the 250th celebration and we need you to help make that happen! You may sign up for more than one shift if you'd like!
