Work Readiness Program - Work Readiness Advisory Group

 

The Opportunity

 

APEGA is looking for volunteers for the Work Readiness Advisory Group for 2025/2026. This is a volunteer opportunity for university students and Members-in-Training (MITs) to support and enhance APEGA’s outreach efforts.

 

APEGA’s Work Readiness is a free program designed to help students and Members-in-training to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes to prepare them for the workplace and to become a professional.

 

The Impact

Participants will assist in running events, contribute to development of the Work Readiness Program, and represent APEGA on campus. This role allows you to gain valuable volunteer experience for your resume, meet industry professionals, and develop your leadership and communication skills. This opportunity is available to volunteers in Calgary and Edmonton.

 

Time Commitment

Approximately 6-10 hours per month

  • Must be a student or MIT
  • Must be enrolled in the Work Readiness Program
  • Must be located in Edmonton or Calgary due to in-person meeting requirements
