The City of Adelaide acknowledges that we are located on the traditional Country of the Kaurna people of the Adelaide Plains and pays respect to Elders past, present and emerging. We recognise and respect their cultural heritage, beliefs and relationship with the land. We also extend that respect to visitors of other Aboriginal Language Groups and other First Nations.

Our Volunteer Vision

Volunteering is highly valued in the City of Adelaide, with volunteer activities contributing significantly to the positive experiences of residents, businesses, visitors and students. Volunteers will be given the opportunity to share their passions, abilities and skills in meaningful ways that strengthen community capacity. Activities of the City of Adelaide's Volunteer Program create a sense of belonging, enable creative expression, promote social inclusion, challenge inequity, encourage sustainable practices, and promote wellbeing in City Communities.
