Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Tira Tūhāhā Prison Chaplaincy Aotearoa.

Please select the prison location from the list on this page to complete an expression of interest in volunteering at that site.

Before you submit an expression of interest in volunteering, we prefer that you speak with the chaplains at your local prison site. They will discuss your interest with you and, if appropriate, invite you to complete the online EOI form.

To do this, please call the prison and ask to speak to a chaplain.

(Click the link below to find a list of phone numbers for prison sites - https://www.corrections.govt.nz/about_us/getting_in_touch/our_locations )

NOTE: The application process takes time (from your expression of interest to the time you are allowed onto a prison site) - we appreciate your patience.
