YPRL Volunteer Opportunities
Thank you for your interest to volunteer with YPRL. We are delighted that you are considering us to be a part of your volunteer journey.
On this website you will find volunteer roles we are actively recruiting for.
Please note that we are not accepting general expressions of interest at this time, and we do not accept applications sent via email.
How to Apply
1. Look for 'Vacant Positions' in the menu on the left-hand side of this page.
2. Click on a library branch below this heading to see which positions are currently available (e.g. Eltham, Thomastown).
3. Click on the role you wish to apply for (e.g. Tech Help, Community Gardening)
4. Read through the advertisement and Activity Statement to check your suitability for the role.
5. Apply for the role by clicking on the button 'Fill in an application'.
6. We will aim to let you know the outcome of your application within 4 weeks from the date of submission.
Important: All volunteers at YPRL are required to undergo our recruitment and selection process which includes relevant security and screening checks. Volunteers over the age of 18 must submit a valid National Police Check and Working with Children Check (both are free of charge).
