Last year 1382 volunteers contributed their time, talent, and energy to APEGA. Together, we aim to advance the engineering and geoscience professions and keep Albertans safe.

APEGA's volunteers enable us to thrive and to reach the community in ways that otherwise wouldn't be possible. Whether you want to review new membership applications, share your expertise with fellow members, or act as a role model for children and students, we have a place for you in our volunteer program!

Highlighted Opportunities:

APEGA Rock and Fossil Clinic

The APEGA K-12 Outreach Team is looking for enthusiastic volunteers who are passionate about geoscience and willing to share their expertise with the next generation of geoscientists! Volunteers will be responsible for delivering a short presentation or hands-on activity related to a specific geoscience topic. Volunteers will also have an opportunity to showcase samples from their personal collections, if interested.
