Our volunteers are an essential part of our mission to care for animals in need. By giving your time and compassion, you help provide love, enrichment, and second chances to the thousands of animals who come through our doors each year. Together, we’re making a difference—one paw at a time.

The Associated Humane Societies rescues stray and homeless animals that are both domestic and wild. We provide quality care and sanctuary until loving homes can be found for them. As a community-based organization, we provide low-cost veterinary care and humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship throughout New Jersey.
