The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust (NCA) brings together four hospitals, Salford Royal Hospital, The Royal Oldham Hospital, Fairfield General Hospital and Rochdale Infirmary.

Our dedicated 20,000-strong team – our NCA Family – delivers healthcare excellence to over one million people across the region, as well as providing more specialist services to patients from Greater Manchester and beyond.

Here at the Northern Care Alliance, we are committed to providing volunteering opportunities for people who are passionate about giving back to their local community. As a volunteer, we require your positive energy, skills, and commitment to help us to enhance the experience for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Our volunteers play a vital role in our services and are celebrated members of the NCA family. In turn, our volunteers will have opportunities to meet new people, learn new skills, gain experience in the workplace and help to give you a sense of pride and fulfilment. We have a wide range of volunteering opportunities available across all of our hospital sites as well as our community services.

Thank you for your interest in Volunteering with us, we look forward to hearing from you.
