Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust - Volunteers

The Northern Care Alliance Foundation Trust NHS brings together staff and services from Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust (SRFT) and The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust (PAT).

Our dedicated 19,500-strong team – our NCA Family – delivers healthcare excellence to over one million people across Salford, Oldham, Rochdale, and Bury, as well as providing more specialist services to patients from Greater Manchester and beyond.

Volunteering at the Northern Care Alliance
Here at the Northern Care Alliance, we are committed to providing volunteering opportunities for people who are passionate about giving back to their local community. As a volunteer, we require your positive energy, skills, and commitment to help us to enhance the experience for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Our volunteers play a vital role in our services and are celebrated members of the NCA family. In turn, our volunteers will have opportunities to meet new people, learn new skills, gain experience in the workplace and help to give you a sense of pride and fulfillment.

We have a wide range of volunteering opportunities available across all of our hospital sites as well as our community services. Our four acute hospitals include - Salford Royal, The Royal Oldham Hospital, Rochdale Infirmary, and Fairfield General Hospital in Bury.
