St Giles Hospice

St Giles Hospice is a registered charity offering specialist palliative and end of life care, free of charge, for people living with terminal illnesses, as well as providing support for their families and carers.

Care is offered at the hospice's centres in Whittington and Sutton Coldfield, as well as in patients' own homes across the region.

We spend close to £10 million a year providing our specialist services and with just 18% of this funded by the Government, we rely heavily on donations and support from the local community.

Volunteers are vital to the work that we do here at St Giles, and we simply couldn’t do it without them. 75% of our workforce is made up of volunteers, so they truly lie at the heart of #TeamStGiles!

We offer a wide range of volunteering opportunities, including fundraising and administrative support, working as part of our reception team, in our shops and even supporting patients in their daily activities.

By volunteering you can enjoy an exciting new challenge, meet new people, and do something different with colleagues, friends, or family. Whether you give an hour, a day or become a regular volunteer with St Giles – your time will make a difference to local people, and their loved ones, living with a terminal illness.
