Cochrane Activettes - Cochrane Food Bank

The Cochrane Activettes was chartered in May 1978 and is a “Not for Profit” Society dedicated to helping those less fortunate in Cochrane and surrounding areas. Our main service project is running the Cochrane Food Bank.

The Cochrane Activettes have been operating the Cochrane Food Bank since 1995 in partnership with Cochrane Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) and have been operating from its current location since 2008. The Cochrane Food Bank is intended to provide food hampers to families, seniors and individuals in Cochrane and surrounding areas who find themselves in a temporary difficult financial situation.

The Cochrane Food Bank is a registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency. 

We welcome donations to help support the Food Bank and to ensure that we can continue helping others in need. Your donations help to provide hampers filled with fresh produce, eggs, margarine, frozen meat and vegetables, non-perishable food items, bread and milk. We also provide non-food and personal care items as available.
