2022 Grey Cup Festival Volunteer Agreement 

  1. Volunteers must be 19 years of age as of October 15, 2022.
  2. All volunteers will be required to work a minimum of four shifts (hours may vary depending on the role).   
  3. All volunteers agree to a non-refundable $85 (plus GST) volunteer commitment fee. The fee can be paid online here or at the Saskatchewan Roughriders Ticket Office during regular business hours.    
  4. All volunteers will be required to complete a criminal record check. We will email you the appropriate form and instructions based on your location.
  1. In completing the volunteer application form, you agree that the information provided is accurate and complete. You also agree to advise Volunteer Services by email at of any changes within 72 hours of those changes. Failure to provide correct and complete information may result in removal as a volunteer.           
  2. Submitting your application is not a guarantee of acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse any application.     
  3. If you are volunteering to drive, you will also be required to provide a copy of your valid driver’s license.                                                                                                    
  4. A valid email address and access to the internet are required.
  5. We use a text messaging system to communicate emergencies during your volunteer shift. You will need to agree to receive the text messages as part of your volunteer application.   You can opt-out once your shifts are complete.       
  6. Volunteers are to wear the uniforms provided to them for the duration of their shift(s). 
  • Uniforms are to be clean and free of excessive wrinkles to maintain the professional image of the event. 
  • Uniforms are unisex and will be distributed based on the sizing provided in your application form. 
  • Uniform exchanges are not available.
  1. Volunteers must attend mandatory orientation or training sessions for their shifts/roles. These sessions will be scheduled in the volunteer system and available for self-scheduling. Failure to attend required sessions may result in removal as a volunteer.
  2. You accept that you are volunteering at your own risk. The CFL, Saskatchewan Roughriders, Grey Cup 2022 Host Organizing Committee, and operating partners are not liable for any loss, injury, or damages.
  3. Volunteers are to adhere to the following volunteer code of conduct. Failure to comply with the code of conduct may result in being removed as a volunteer without notice. Should you be removed, you will be required to return your volunteer uniform and accreditation.
  • Be alert, sober, and drug-free while volunteering.
  • Limit smoking to scheduled breaks and in designated areas only.
  • No gifts, tips, or bribes from anyone are to be accepted.
  • Unless otherwise noted, a ticket is required to access events. Accreditation is not a ticket.
  • Harassment and discrimination will not be tolerated. Review the Harassment Policy
  • Review and abide by the Social Media Policy. 
  • There is no soliciting or distributing non-authorized items while on shift or in volunteer uniform.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and level of enthusiasm for the Grey Cup Festival.
  • Follow the protocols as outlined in volunteer training and orientation.
