AF Volunteer Policy

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us! To be part of our Volunteer Program, all volunteers need to ensure they meet the needs of our organisation. Compliance documents (paper or digital) will be sighted at the Volunteer Briefing or your first shift if you are doing pre-festival shifts. Compliance for our AF volunteers include;

  • Applicants must include a profile picture of themselves (no avatars) in their MyImpact profile.
  • Have a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) - more information and application here. Note that the application is free for volunteers.
  • Adelaide Festival’s highest priority is the safety of our staff, artists, audiences, and volunteers. As a volunteer, you will be required to comply with any Government issued health directives regarding COVID-19.

New volunteers will need to complete an online WHS induction by February 2024.

We want to attract volunteers who are passionate about the arts and Adelaide Festival; who are positive communicators with a committed 'can do' approach who have lots of availability during the lead up to, and during, Adelaide Festival.
