Welcome to the Wake County Animal Center's Volunteer Program!

Anyone interested in joining our Volunteer Program must read and agree to the following requirements:

I meet the necessary Essential Capabilities to safely volunteer.
I am over the age of 18.
- I understand that there are no exceptions to this rule and, if I am under the age of 18, my application will automatically be rejected and I will not receive an orientation email.
I must commit to at least six hours per month, for at least six months.
- I understand that WCAC cannot accommodate single-day or short-term volunteerism.
I am not seeking to fulfill court-ordered Community Service hours.
- I understand that WCAC does not have a court-ordered Community Service Program and legally required Community Service paperwork will not be signed.
