Application Form - City of White Rock

1) Eligibility Requirements - To volunteer at the City of White Rock you must be

•      -Eligible to volunteer in Canada
•      -16 Years of age or older (see specific opportunities)  Volunteers under 19 must have authorization from a parent or guardian.
•      -Able to pass a Police Information Check

2) Apply

• Fill in an application online including 2 references that we may contact.
  • Personal information is collected for the purposes of processing and managing your volunteer application, promoting volunteer services in city publications, websites and social media channels, and connecting you with opportunities within the City.  The City of White Rock is collecting this information under s.26(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
• Complete a Police Information Check
  • Once your application is received you will be directed to complete a Police Information Check (PIC)  The City of White Rock has a responsibility to ensure that positions of trust in which individuals have significant opportunities for interaction with vulnerable people are filled with duly qualified individuals.  As you may have applied for a position of trust as a volunteer, the City may require that you consent to a Police Information Check which will need to be completed before you volunteer (and is at no cost to you).  You will be given the form and directions for processing in due course.

3) Volunteer - When you have completed the steps above, log in to your profile at My Impact Page to search available and upcoming opportunities.  Here you will be able to sign up for shifts and record your hours of service.
