Your support of our volunteer program directly enables the Gallery’s contribution to the life and well-being of Geelong by operating a great gallery, with strong community engagement based on the excellence of our collection, exhibitions and learning experiences for everyone.

Please note the following important information about our volunteer program:
As a participant in Geelong Gallery’s Volunteer program we ask you to agree to a number of conditions of our program, which includes a minimum contribution of at least one shift per month, or 12 shifts per year. To read the Volunteer program conditions, click here.
Volunteer opportunities are available for persons over 18. For youth programs including work experience, Youth Council and Youth Ambassador programs, please visit our website.
All volunteers must have a valid working with children check, and undertake a police check as part of the induction process.
Geelong Gallery accepts two intakes of volunteers per year. Once you have submitted your expression of interest form, one of our team will be in touch with information regarding the next induction period.
