Volunteer Terms and Conditions
Plaza programs are open community spaces where people can connect with others, seek information, and access resources. Plaza programs take place weekly at multiple library branches across the city, each offering consistent core services and relevant resources with support in numerous languages.
The Plaza program has specific needs for volunteer support. We will conduct interviews with all interested candidates to ensure that our goals as well as your goals as a volunteer can be met. We are generally not able to accommodate volunteers who are seeking hours for TESOL and other program certifications. Click here to view a map and schedule of our current programs to see if any of them might work with your schedule and accessibility. If you meet these general needs and would like to pursue volunteering with Plaza, please complete the following information and we will contact you promptly to schedule a virtual interview.
Please note:
- All volunteers 18 years or older must undergo a background check.
- For court-ordered volunteer opportunities, please fill out our intake form.
For additional questions related to volunteering, please email volunteers@denverlibrary.org.
